Every New Moon is a chance to stop and ask what you are carrying into the world. Not your to-do list. Your thoughts, your mood, the way you speak to the people around you.
Why Meditate at the New Moon
The New Moon feels like a clean page. It is quiet, and it is easy to turn inward. It is a good time to set an intention bigger than your own plans: a wish for peace and goodwill to reach other people.
You cannot fix the world’s problems alone. But you can choose what you send out into it. Goodwill is something we can offer, and it grows when we offer it on purpose.
What Happens in the Meditation
The video is short and simple. You only need to listen.
Stillness. Let your breath slow down. Let your thoughts settle without judging them.
Wisdom and love. Rest your attention on what is wise and kind in you. Feel it as warmth, not as an idea.
Goodwill. Picture it moving outward, to the people you know, then to people you will never meet. Let it reach those who are struggling and those who disagree with you.
Intention. Hold a clear wish for peace and understanding in the world. Do not force a feeling. Simply mean it.
Take It Into Your Day
You do not need to wait for the next New Moon. Come back to this whenever you feel scattered or tense.
Before you reply to a message or react to a headline, pause. Ask yourself whether you want to understand or to win. Then choose the response that carries goodwill.
Small acts count. Listen without interrupting. Say something kind. Help someone who is having a hard day. A wish becomes real when it moves through what we do.
A New Moon Intention
May wisdom guide our thoughts.
May love guide our relationships.
May goodwill guide our actions.
May understanding grow where there is division.
May we care for the Earth and the life we share.
Press play, sit quietly, and let the intention settle. If it moves you, share it with someone who needs a moment of peace.
