There was a time in my life when everything looked exactly right.
A career in branding and marketing. Beautiful work. A world that looked polished and purposeful from the outside.
But something was quietly falling apart on the inside.
My body was in pain. Food allergies that made eating feel like a minefield. A heaviness that sat in my chest without explanation. A restlessness that no achievement could settle.
The strange thing was, I could not tell anyone. Because from the outside, what was there to complain about?
So I kept going. Kept pushing. Kept performing the version of myself that looked fine.
Until my body simply refused to pretend anymore.
That was not a breakdown. Looking back, it was a breakthrough in disguise.
Because in being forced to slow down, I discovered something I had never been taught. That the body is not just a vehicle we push through life. It is a messenger. And mine had been sending signals for years that I had been too busy, too distracted, too afraid to hear.
The healing that followed was not linear. It was not pretty. It was not something I found in a book or a course or a certification.
It was lived. Slowly. Honestly. One layer at a time.
And somewhere in that process, this work was born.
Not as a career I chose. But as a truth I could no longer keep to myself.
Because I know now that I am not the only one who has smiled through the heaviness. Who has achieved things while quietly falling apart. Who has carried something in the body that no doctor could fully name.
